My travel wish list for 2021! I got gipped (is that how you spell it?) in the travel category this year. All the way around. I didn’t get started until February with my Vegas trip for some hockey and then it came to an epic shut down until I got to go to Fort Worth and Dallas. Other than that, I didn’t get to Dyersville, Miami, Boston, or any of the fun places I had planned thanks to Ms. Rona. But hopefully 2021 will be a little more promising. If all goes to plan, here are the places I hope to hit up in 2021, in order. Note: I made this list with the idea that most things will go back to normal. Kinda. Maybe. Hopefully.

January

Marfa, TX – This is actually already planned and scheduled – going down in two weeks. I will finally be making it out west to Marfa, TX to take a picture in front of the famous Prada store in the desert.

February

San Antonio: This is a reschedule from 2020. I originally planned to hit up San Antonio for a little Spurs action, but then the world stopped and I didn’t get to. Hopefully the NBA will be allowing fans by February.

March

New York: I have a few things I can do in the city that never sleeps and since I never made it back in 2020 (my mom and I go at least once a year), I definitely need to get up there twice this year.

Tampa: My plan is to go straight from New York to Tampa and take in Spring Training. Maybe hit up Disney while I’m there!

April/May

Boston: This is a rescheduling from 2020’s trip. Kayleigh and I have things to do in Boston, y’all.

San Francisco/Napa: I have a thing for California, and although I do love LA and Palm Springs, I need to go a little more north and see what San Francisco has to offer.

June

Miami: The beach. Baseball. That is all.

July

Bahamas: Here’s a fun fact, my family is from the Bahamas. Perfect spot for a little R&R.

Tokyo: Who doesn’t want to go to the Olympics? This is a total dream, I don’t think I will actually get there, but who knows, 2021 can be the year of dreams.

August

Dyersville: Kayleigh and I would kill to go to the Field of Dreams game with the Yankees and White Sox. I may not kill for it, cause no part about me is made for jail, but I would do almost anything to get to this game. It is a dream.

September

Las Vegas: The year is not complete without a trip to Vegas. I love Vegas as it is one of my favorite places. Some people love Disney, I love Vegas. Hopefully I’ll finally get my Raiders fix in.

Nashville: I haven’t been to Nashville since I was in middle school and I have been wanting to go back for some time. So here we are!

October

Norman, OK: But of course. Do I need to explain here?

Phoenix, AZ: I fell in love with Arizona when Hannah and I road tripped to Scottsdale, and I’ve been wanting to go back. So how about some Cardinals football, eh?

November

Seattle, WA: I’ve never been, and I know the weather is probably going to suck in November, but why not!

Ann Arbor, MI: I was supposed to go to Columbus for The Game, but COVID said no, so now here’s my chance to check off another college town. Yes, I will risk it and wear Ohio State gear in Michigan. Mama ain’t raise no, B.

December

Aspen/Vail/Breckenridge: I have a secret. I’ve been wanting to learn how to snowboard since I was a little kid. Probably since middle school. I really want to a mountain vacation and learn how to snowboard. I need the whole experience. Mountain chalet, the gear, the instructor, everything.

New York: Christmas in the city!

There we have it. My Travel Wish List for 2021. Hopefully Miss Rona the Pandemic Queen will let me have my way with this wish list and at least accomplish a few things. What’s on your travel wish list this year? Where will you game day? Cheers, y’all!
