Ryan Braun, a 29-year old left fielder for the Milwaukee Brewers (who’s salary was $9,898,611 this year) tested positive for performance enhancing drugs.  Now this may not seem like a huge deal, but it’s a serious problem in professional sports and it’s in the spotlight in Major League Baseball right now.  He’s finally acknowledging and apologizing for his mistake:

“It was a huge mistake for which I am deeply ashamed and I compounded the situation by not admitting my mistakes immediately,” Braun said in a statement released by the Brewers.
