Are you heading out to a Super Bowl party on Sunday and have nothing to bring? Hate cooking, but have a little creative bone in your body? Well I have a treat for you that is super easy, and won’t take any time. All you need are some cookie cutters, oatmeal cream pies, and brownie mix.

Necessities:

1 box of large Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream Pies

1 box Betty Crocker Cake Mix

Cookie CuttersI used these, you can get them through Amazon Prime super quick.  Just a little tip, the helmet cookie cutter in this set didn’t work the best. I used it on brownies and the tip of the helmet broke off. I did read some reviews and other people said the same thing. So that is something to consider.

2 Eggs

3 tablespoons of water

1/2 cup of vegetable oil

Betty Crocker Cookie Icing (get the kind that’s in the squeeze tube)

The quickest and easiest of the two desserts are the oatmeal cream pie footballs. All you need to do is unwrap your cookies, use the football cookie cutter, stamp out your football and outline with frosting. One box will make 12 footballs. This maybe takes 20 minutes. When you arrive at your party, it looks like you brought something homemade, and really, you didn’t. And besides who doesn’t like oatmeal cream pie?

Lastly for the brownies just follow the directions on the box. I used a 8X8 glass dish and this made two footballs, a jersey, and a helmet. If you use a larger baking pan, you’ll get thinner brownies and will be able to make more. The brownies I made are very thick and people will probably want to share. Like I said earlier, the helmet broke apart, so it is not pictured above. The brownies take a little longer, you will want to reserve two hours for these. Of course, the brownies need to cool before you cut them up, so make sure you allow for that, otherwise the icing will melt as well.

Let me know what you are taking/making for your Super Bowl parties. I mean after all, aren’t we all just there for the food and commercials?

XOXO
