It’s that time again; a new month is upon us.  This time it’s July.  And while it is the middle of the summer, there still is plenty to watch.  Here’s our guideline to keep sports on your radar this month.

Tuesday July 1st: 

World Cup Round of 16:

It’s the last day of matches for the round of 16.  Argentina takes on Switzerland and then the US takes on Belgium to decide who is going on to the quarterfinals.

Friday July 4th– Saturday July 5th:

World Cup Quarter Finals:

Only 8 teams left to fight for the championship.  You can follow the schedule here.  The Semis begin on Tuesday, July 7th and continue til July 8th.  The playoff for third place…aka the best of the losers, plays on Saturday July 12th.  Here is the full schedule.

Saturday July 5th:

Wimbledon Championship:

The finals for the Ladies Championship will begin at 8AM EST if you want to tune in.  The Men’s final is on Sunday, July 6th at 8AM EST.  Click here for the full schedule and results.

Tour de France:

This infamous cycling race begins on Saturday July 5th and runs until Sunday July 27th.  Full coverage can be found here.

Thursday July 10th:

Women’s British Open:

The tournament tees off on Thursday and continues until Sunday, July 6th.  For the schedule and coverage, you can click here.

Monday July 14th:

MLB Home Run Derby:

Even if you’re not much of a baseball fan, who doesn’t enjoy watching the homerun derby?!  This year it’s taking place in Minneapolis at Target field.  It begins at 8PM EST.  Click here for more info.

Tuesday July 15th:

85th MLB All-Star Game:

Sunday July 13th:

FIFA World Cup Final:

You can catch the conclusion to the World’s tournament at 3PM EST on ESPN.

Thursday July 17th:

The Open Championship:
