Greetings 2023!

Okay I know I am very late to saying hello in 2023, but here I am. The ending to 2022 didn’t completely go as planned. Canceled plans to be rescheduled and canceled again. Honestly life jut went blah from October to the end. I ended up stuck in a rut that I couldn’t figure out how to get out of and virtually decided to regroup come January. Well, here we are. January is now a week old and I am refreshed and ready.

I’m very excited to get 2023 underway, While there won’t be much sports travel until later this spring, I am ready to get back to the basics and that’s game day. I’m looking forward to bringing you my favorite recipes beginning with NFL playoffs and gearing up to host Super Bowl Sunday. Who’s hosting all of their family and friends for Super Bowl Sunday – raise your hand?! I see you, I hear you. I’m bringing that back. 2022 saw a lot of travel, specifically in the summer, and while that will return in 2023, there will be more off season locations that will come to The Sports Brat. Many of you saw that I spent New Years Eve in Madrid, you can check out that post here.

In addition to more traditional game day, I will be getting down to business in the fitness and health division. I have decided that health and fitness needs to be a priority this year. I’ve put it on the back burner in recent years and with the upcoming half marathon, my nutrition has been garbage. On this note, expect to see some lighter choice game day recipes for the foreseeable future. Just know that not everything will be healthy we all know I live off of chicken tenders and French fries. However, this may also be the majority of the problem. 🙂

I hope this gives you an overall idea of what is happening going into 2023. To be fully transparent, there have been many instances toward the end of last year that I felt like giving this all up. My job and TSB started clashing and there were times where I was like, why am I doing this again. Then so many of your (no honestly) many of you reached out offering encouragement and love and checked in and that is very appreciated. I can’t wait to share more with you this year as TSB evolves and keeps sports in the center of it all.

Happy Gameday,
