It’s Thursday! Which means its podcast<\/a> day! It’s a family affair on my second episode as I interview the Haferkamp<\/a> family. \u00a0This awesome family set out one summer on a journey (that would last 5 years) to attend a game in each of the MLB Ballparks. \u00a0My chat with Dayna, Steve, Grant and Jack was not only super fun but absolutely heartwarming.<\/p>\n

I had the pleasure of getting to read their story earlier this summer and today they’re on my podcast! OK so in their book “Let’s Hit Em All<\/a>” they chronicle their journey; from autographs to no-hitters. \u00a0I have to give a little spoiler alert but they were so smart to include little quick reference guides and charts in some of the chapters. \u00a0These guides covered mascot info, theme songs, stadium facts, etc. \u00a0I’ll never feel like an out-of-towner at a new ballpark with their guides!<\/p>\n

But I think my favorite part about the Haferkamps is not just that they’re true baseball fans but that they get that its more than just the game. \u00a0They chose to support different teams on the road and they really embraced the local experience and city. \u00a0Let’s just say going to a baseball game with this tribe is high on my bucket list.<\/p>\n
