Ruby {Red Zone} Greyhound Jell-O Shots<\/p><\/div>\n

Ingredients:<\/p>\n

• 3 large grapefruits<\/li>\n
• 5 to 2 packets of Knox unflavored gelatin (Use 2 packs for a firmer shot)<\/li>\n
• \u00bc cup sugar<\/li>\n
• 1\/8 teaspoon cherry Jell-O or 1 drop pink food coloring (for pink color)<\/li>\n
• \u00be cup vodka (try Absolut Ruby Red)<\/li>\n
• \u00bc cup cold water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Instructions:<\/p>\n

  1. Carefully juice enough grapefruit to yield 1 cup of juice, strain any pulp and seeds.<\/li>\n
  2. Hollow out each half, taking care not to puncture the peel.<\/li>\n
  3. Place the hollowed-out halves in a muffin tin to stabilize them.<\/li>\n
  4. Pour juice into a saucepan and add Knox unflavored gelatin.<\/li>\n
  5. For color, add the 1\/8 tsp. cherry Jell-O or pink food coloring.<\/li>\n
  6. Let it soak for a minute or two then add \u00bc cup of sugar and heat until the gelatin and sugar have dissolved (about 5 minutes).<\/li>\n
  7. Pour in vodka and water and then transfer to something with a pouring spout (such as a liquid measuring cup) to make for easier filling.<\/li>\n
  8. Pour the mixture into your halves and refrigerate for several hours or overnight. Once the Jell-O is completely set, use a sharp knife to slice the wedges in half again, then in half again.<\/li>\n
