When you start seeing football on TV you know summer is coming to an end…and I, personally, could not be more excited!  Here’s what you need to tune into this month!

College Football:

College Football is in season!  Just a hint, the matchups don’t start to heat up til week 2, then it just gets better and better!  Here’s the full schedule.  And keep an eye out for my upcoming college football trips…I’m heading to Stanford on Sept. 6th as they take on USC.  Then I will be in Eugene to see Oregon host Arizona on Oct. 2nd!!

Monday September 1st –Monday September 8th:

US Open:

The epic tourney continues into September, with the conclusion coming on the 8th.  Make sure you keep an eye on Jelena Ristic Djokovic, Novak Djokovic’s new wife, she’s always dressed to impress!

Thursday September 4th:

First NFL Regular Season Game:

Watch Green Bay take on Seattle at 8:30PM EST in the first official game of the NFL season!!

Monday September 8th:

First  MNF  Game:

It’s the first Monday Night Football game of the season.  The NY Giants head to Detroit to take on the Lions 7:10PM EST on ESPN.

Sunday September 21st:

NHL Preseason starts:

The NHL preseason starts with Columbus taking on Carolina at 1:30 PM EST.  Check here for the full schedule.

Tuesday September 23rd – Sunday September 28th:

The Ryder Cup:

The Ryder Cup is a men’s golf competition between a two teams, one from Europe and one from America.  The competition is held every 2 years with the venue alternating between the US and Europe.  This year it is at the Gleneagles Hotel in Perth & Kinross, Scotland.

In case you missed the PGA Championship, golf has gotten exciting! So you may want to tune in.  Head over here  for full details, including which cuties will be competing!

Also Notable:

The hunt for October is on…as in the MLB post season…so its officially time to start tuning in to baseball.
