Last night I was invited out to a RaceTrac Pizza party at one of their newest stores in Dallas. I’ve been a partner with RaceTrac for a while now and the thing I love the most about them is their convince stores because they are SO much more than that. When we began our partnership I was immediately in love with Swirl World because as a native Southern Californian, I have a true 20+ year obsession with fro yo. And it’s hard to find good fro yo let me tell you.
So when RaceTrac announce that they were hosting a pizza party to celebrate their fresh-baked pizzas I was intrigued.
RaceTrac Pizza Party
I was super excited to try RaceTrac’s pizza and I knew they had pepperoni and a meat lover’s but they surprised us with a special sneak peek tasting of their Buffalo Chicken Ranch pizza that will be offered for a limited time soon. You guys…the pizza was legit. As in I ate both pieces and would 100% grab a pizza (yes they have full pizzas that are 16″ and grab and go slices).
I think when I pictured “gas-station” pizza I thought it would taste bland but they bring in their dough, mozzarella, sauce and toppings and make the pizzas there in store, so they’re super fresh.
You know I love to eat and I love anything that helps make setting up the tailgate (or homegate) a little easier. I will absolutely utilize their convenient carry out pizzas for my next event. Plus you can snag a million other things to get you going. Whether you want to add dessert from “Swirl World”, chips, beverages or their “Crazy-Good Coffee” they have it all.
How hilarious is this sign from last night’s event?! I agree and furthermore, a slice of pizza should never go home alone. I was shocked to see how many private label items they have in their stores. Sure they have all your favorites but I personally tried their TasteWorks chips and they were super yummy last night.
They sent us home with the cutest goodie bags you have ever seen, filled with all their private label items I cannot wait to try.
They included their Left Hook energy drink, Sequins and Sawdust Chardonnay, Tasteworks Chips, Chocolate-covered blueberries, gummy worms and a gift card for their Crazy Good Coffee that they have lattes and cappuccinos…um heck yes. In full disclose, I’ve eaten the gummy worms since they photo was taken and they’re incredible. I don’t really know how to explain it but like gourmet gummies.
Let’s just say that RaceTrac has completely raised the bar when it comes to convenient food being more than just fresh but crave-worthy. A couple of my blogger babes were there (shout out to @DallasLoveList @Dallasites101 and @StreetsBeatsEats) and we all agreed that the sauce on the pizza was bomb. As an Italian gal, I am all about a good sauce and that was fresh, flavorful and authentic. Trust me and grab a slice asap.
As for the buffalo chicken, they use real ranch and Frank’s Red Hot (which you know I love) and it was phenomenal too…and literally perfect for game day if you don’t want to do wings for your tailgate.
And for those you will be asking…here’s where you can snag my pizza shirt. Hey, I had to be on theme for the pizza party!
Huge thank you to RaceTrac for hosting us and spoiling us with all the pizza and goodies. Check them out and tell me what you think.
