Fall is in full effect now, that means football, football and some playoff baseball. Oh and hockey starts too! Here’s what you need to put on the calendar this month in sports.

Sunday October 4th:

NFL International Series:

For those of you who like to literally wake up and watch football, your dream comes true as the NY Jets take on the Miami Dolphins in London at 9:30 AM EST on CBS. Now that’s what I call an early start to game day!

Wednesday October 7th:

First NHL Regular Season Game:

That’s right, NHL hockey is back! You can see Toronto host Montreal at 7PM EST in the first game of the season. The full schedule is here.

Friday October 9th:

Midnight Madness:

Midnight Madness is an annual event celebrating the upcoming college basketball season. Teams open up their first official practice to the public and combine it with fan-friendly activities – think talent show, costumes and singing. Check your favorite school or here for ones you can tune into!

Tuesday October 27th:

World Series Starts:

As this post is being published, the post season is just getting started. The 2 final teams won’t be decided until the middle of the month but the World Series is set to start on Oct. 27th. Stay tuned here for updates and to see who will be in contention for the world title.

First NBA Regular Season Game:

NBA basketball is back! The first day of the regular season offers 3 games:

Cleveland vs. Chicago

Detroit vs. Atlanta

New Orleans vs. Golden State
