Happy Monday everyone! I’m kicking off the week by giving you all a tour of my home office. Buying my first house was a dream come true and getting to have a home office was even cooler to me. I’d dreamed of having a separate workspace to let my creativity fly for a long time! I know this is different for me but I kept its super sporty with some fun pieces I wanted to share so I hope you enjoy.
This particular Daybed and pillows are from Restoration Hardware Teen and so is the cute rug that’s peeking into the picture. You can also check out this similar option or this one, I love the trundle option. It’s the perfect lounge place when writing or reading but it also is large enough for guests when they come to visit. Here’s another cute option for a rug as well.
Outfit details: Top & Jeans.
While I love my daybed, my desk is where I spend most of my time recording the podcast and working. Here’s another option as well. My chair is amazing, so comfortable and totally worth the splurge! I’ve had the piece of art hanging above my desk for years and I honestly can’t even remember where I found it. But it softens the room a bit.
My favorite frame in my office is the one I have on the desk. As for my podcast equipment. I use a pretty standard mic stand but I upped my game with my gold mic. I do all of my recording on an H5 Recorder.
Obviously my favorite part would be the French Bulldog Tape Dispenser. I know, I know, I am obsessed with Stan and all things French Bulldogs.
I found these awesome leaning shelves from Crate and Barrel. Here is another option too. I keep tons of pictures of people I’ve interviewed and met and I found the light up TSB at a local store here in Dallas. But you can snag them here. I also have to have a candle in every room and I love this one! Lastly, I always keep books in my office and something most people don’t know about me is that when I finish a book I give it to someone. So anything I have in my house I’m currently reading. I am just finishing up Phil Knight’s book Shoe Dog. Who wants it? Send me an email at [email protected]
I also have some memorabilia. I’m not a huge collector but I did work LeBron James’ basketball camp during business school so I have a signed basketball from him and this signed baseball from the Rangers.
I think my favorite part of the room is the gallery wall I did with old ticket stubs, towels, and my first newspaper article that I had framed. I hope to continue to add to this and eventually have this stuff cover my walls.
That sums up my tour. I hope you enjoyed it. Let me know what you guys think 🙂
