Happy New Year, Everybody!
I am so excited to finally be in a new year, new decade, new – EVERYTHING! Don’t you love the start to a new year? The resolutions are set, the motivation is ever present, the gym is packed. Okay never mind the gym part; that’s the part I hate. But you know what I mean – everything is FRESH. January 1, just feels bright and new. That’s where I am at right now! I feel bright and new.
I’m so ready for this year at The Sports Brat because I’m getting back to the basics and that’s game day. This year I am focusing on hosting game day at home, tailgating, travel and sports news. I am ready for this because it’s time to get back to business. I will still throw in some fashion and style in there as it pertains to game day looks but my main focus this year is sports travel and everything you need to make your game day a success. How to host, recipes (I know. I slack big time on recipes, that’s why I’m focusing on it), themed cocktails, everything. I am going to focus much more on videos and vlog while I’m out and about in different cities. I asked you guys about this while I was in Oklahoma City the last time, and vlogs were definitely the popular opinion.
Another focus will be city guides when you are following your team on the road. As usual, I’ll provide you the places to eat, stay and play all around your point of interest – the stadium, arena, and ballpark. I was up late last night thinking where all I want to travel to. One of my ultimate bucket list items and life long goals is to visit all the MLB ball parks so of course I have some new destinations on that list. I’m so serious about the travel this year that I have already purchased two new carry-on bags from Sole Society. I will be all about that carry-on life and minimalist closet. I know, I can’t believe it either. The queen of over packing in going to contain herself to a carry-on. Hey 2020 is all about believing in yourself. The sky is the limit! ☺️
Anyway, I didn’t want to tie you up today, just wanted to send a quick note to say Happy New Year and what to expect this new year. I’m so grateful to everyone who has stuck around with me in the last year and a half. It has definitely been a ride. Let’s really tackle this 2020, yeah? But please, no targeting calls. ?
