I know, I know…I’ve been MIA. Well, not really, but kinda. Honestly, baseball season has left me disinterested, and I’ve been longing for football season. With training for a marathon and gearing up for a new school year, I’m so excited for football. Here are a few things I’m looking forward to most this football season.
OU’s Second Season in the SEC
I’m optimistic for a good OU football season. I will be traveling to a few games this fall. Marathon training is making it challenging, but I will always ensure I get to Norman, Oklahoma. I’m eyeing two trips to Oklahoma, and then the third will be Dallas for OU/TX of course. I’m optimistic that it’ll be a good season.
CFB Week 1
Have you seen the lineup of games for week one of college football? I need you to watch this promo for the Ohio State and Texas game in Columbus and tell me you aren’t ready to run through a brick wall. I will be SAT on August 30. My phone will be on DND. Do not call. Do not text. I am busy.
Houston Texans are My Favorite
I’m making an effort to head to NRG more this season. Honestly, ticket prices have been detrimental, especially since I like to sit down low and as close to the 50 as possible. Hopefully, Ticketmaster doesn’t fail me this season.
Can the Philadelphia Eagles Repeat?!
Listen, I’m still running behind the Eagles. Do we actually think they can run it back and win again? I’m in an era of delusion, and I’m going with yes.
The Super Bowl is Definitely ON for the Giants
If you know, you know. Hey! They beat the Chiefs in preseason game 1; anything is possible at this point. Can the Giants please evoke a sense of emotion in me? The Yankees obviously didn’t get the memo to win games this summer, and they’ve done nothing but disappoint me and leave me with a puzzled look. New York, find the oxygen mask immediately! Anyway, let’s go Giants!
