I have been dabbling in and out of skincare for a few years and I realized that instead of being one of those people that tries everything, I just like to stick to my old trusty favorites. I rounded up some of my favorite skin care products of all time. Listed in no particular order, these are items that I have repurchased time and time again, and have recently incorporated into my standard beauty routine. These are listed in no particular order. PS: If you saw my Sephora Sale must haves on IG last week, some of these may look familiar.
Garnier Micellar Water – First up in my must haves is micellar water. The cheapest item on this list is this bad boy. I buy this as a supplement to when I use a makeup removing wipe. The micellar water cleanses really well, and if you have lash extensions I use this with a q-tip to clean eye shadow buildup off of my lashes and get mascara residue off. Sometimes makeup removing wipes don’t work all that well and you have to come through with the micellar water to really clean up. BRAT TIP: After using the micellar water, I like to finish off with a toner, a little hydrating serum, and go to bed with a super clean face.
Sunday Riley CEO Oil Serum – Ahhh I made that leap into Sunday Riley a few months back and now I can’t stop and am probably going to be spending $1000 a year on skin care. I guess I will evaluate my skin care spending in a future edition of TSB Presents: The Money Series.
Sunday Riley Good Genes – Another favorite I discovered in a gift set. This is actually a exfoliator and it doesn’t feel like it. My skin has never been smoother. It’s wild! It’s also pricey, cause ahem, Sunday Riley. It will set you back $122 dollars. Yes, I know, but it’s a necessity in your skin care routine.
Tula Clarifying Face Wash – You’ve heard me talk about the Tula face wash a zillion times, and I will never stop. It is my number one face wash. Hands down. Remember – You can use my code SPORTSBRAT to save 15% off your purchase. The face wash will cost you $28.
Tula Rose Glow and Get It – Another Tula favorite of mine. I use the rose glow and get it in the mornings after all of my serums and moisturizers and go about my day with a fresh face. I also use it at night, after I’ve cleansed and put my nighttime product on because it cools and soothes my tired eyes. I wake up super refreshed and ready to start the day. PS: I don’t suffer from eye bags or anything like this so I can’t say whether or not this helps with puffiness.
Sunday Riley Pink Drink– Love to spray this on as a refresher on a hot day. I usually spray it at night after I have washed my face before I do my serum.
Fresh Rose Toner – I love rose scented everything. So fresh and hydrating. It’s a bit pricey, but the things we do, and the price we pay, for skincare.
Mask – It doesn’t matter what kind of mask. Sheet masks, purifying, whatever. Some of my favorite masks include the Tula Sheet Mask, Glamglow Purifying mask, and the bubble masks that fit on your face. They feel so good! BRAT TIP: If you are using a sheet mask, don’t wipe off the excess oils and serums. Rub them in really good, go to bed, and wake up with baby smooth and buttery skin!
First Aid Beauty Deep Cleanser – My first holy grail face cleanser and one of my favorites of all time. Okay, so when I first branched out into designer face washes, this is the one I got. I used it for forever. I would buy it two at a time, that’s how much I loved it. I recently purchased a new tube because sometimes you need to go back to your old fave, and this is it.
Lip Conditioner – The last must have is a lip conditioner. If there is ever a lip balm you need, the MAC Lip Conditioner is IT. I have had the same tube for three months now, and a little goes a long way. The MAC Lip Conditioner hydrates, moisturizes and leaves your lips soft and smooth. This is super important for me since I love matte lipsticks and my lips stay dry and chapped all the time. Grab yourself a tube for $18. Also, try the Laneige lip mask in the evenings – another fave for my friends and I!
