Robert Griffin III, aka RG3, was fined $10,000 by the NFL for wearing “unauthorized apparel.” Griffin was wearing an “Operation Patience” t-shirt (a motto he adopted while rehabbing a knee injury in the offseason). The NFL has an apparel deal with Nike, so apparently anything not bearing a swoosh will cost you a pretty penny. That’s one expensive t-shirt.
