This Website is operated by TheSportsBrat (“Company” or “we” or “us” or “our”).  The following privacy policies (the “Policies”) apply to www.thesportsbrat.com (the “Website”).  By visiting this Website, you (“you” or “Visitor(s)”) accept that your visit is subject to these Policies.  We reserve the right to update these Policies.  At such time, we will also revise the “last updated” date at the end of these Policies.  We recommend that you periodically review these Policies.  By visiting or using this Website, you consent to the data collection and use practices described in these Policies as they may be revised from time to time.  Your continued use of this Website after such modifications will constitute your acknowledgement of the modified Policies, and your agreement to abide and be bound by the modified Policies.

1. Collection of Personal Data.  The Company automatically collects and/or tracks (1) the home server domain names, e-mail addresses, type of client computer and type of web browser, and Internet Protocol address indicating locations of Visitors to the Website, (2) the e-mail addresses of Visitors that communicate with the Company via e-mail, post messages to our bulletin boards, or post messages to our chat groups, (3) information knowingly provided by the Visitor in online forms, registration forms, surveys, and contest entries, and (4) both aggregate and user-specific information on what pages Visitors access.

The Company places Internet cookies, flash cookies, and/or web beacons and similar technologies (collectively, “Internet cookies”) on Visitors’ hard drives.  Internet cookies save the Visitor’s name, password, user-name, shopping cart, stock portfolio, screen preferences, the pages of the Website viewed by the Visitor, and the advertisements viewed or clicked by the Visitor.  When the Visitor revisits the Website, we recognize the Visitor by the Internet cookie and customize the Visitor’s experience accordingly.  Internet cookies are stored on the Visitor’s hard drive and are not stored, in any form, by the Company.  Visitors may decline the Internet cookie by using the appropriate feature of their web client software, if available.  When a Visitor performs a search on Company’s search engine, Company records information identifying the Visitor or linking the Visitor to the search performed.  As necessary to provide service, the Company records limited information for every search request and uses that information initially to solve technical problems with the service and to calculate overall usage statistics, but reserves the right to use that information for any purposes authorized by these policies.

We sometimes supplement the information that we receive that has been outlined in these policies with information from other sources and companies. Such outside information includes updated delivery and address information from carriers or third parties, which enables us to correct our records and deliver your next purchase from this website or future communications more easily; account information, purchase or redemption information, and page-view information from some merchants with which we operate co-branded businesses or for which we provide technical, fulfillment, advertising, or other services; search term and search result information from some searches conducted through the web search features; search results and links, including paid listings (such as Sponsored Links from Google); and credit history information from credit bureaus, which we use to help prevent and detect fraud and to offer certain credit or financial services to some Visitors.

Some content or applications on the Website, including advertisements, are served by third-parties, including advertisers, ad networks and servers, content providers and application providers.  These third parties may use cookies (alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies) to collect information about you when you use our Website.  The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services.  They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content.  We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used.  If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly.
